Essiac Tea

Our experience with essiac

by Juan Fernandez
(Chicago, IL)

Back in 2005 my mom was diagnosed with MFH (Malignant fibrous histiocytoma), a rare and deadly form of bone sarcoma. At first the doctors thought it was a fat tumor, but it turned out to be cancer.

She had part of right scapula muscle removed, and she was clean until it came back in November of that year. We were horrified and she was more so.

Mom went for surgery again because doctors said that sarcomas were only treatable through surgery. Now her entire right scapula muscle needed to be removed for safer margins. This time doctors recommended radiation treatment and our mom endured weeks of pain, on top of the months she had already endure of trying to recuperate from her first surgery.

By the following year my mom was making slow progress in getting back to normal. The surgeries and radiation completely debilitated her right arm. New CT scans were cleared until December of 2006 when we got the awful news that a couple of tumors had been identified on her right lung.

Frantically I contacted all of the top hospitals in Chicago who had experts dealing with sarcomas. They all told me the grim news about this type of cancer.

Doctors from UIC, the University of Chicago, and Loyola University all told us real bad news: that this cancer was incurable and that chemo did not respond to it. We finally took my mom to a famous cancer center in Zion, IL.

This was around the same time I found out about essiac tea, which I ordered through this web site. At this center it was discovered that my mom had larger tumors than what the other doctors in the other hospitals had told us. Things were going from bad to worst.

We did not lose faith however, in God and his power. We kept hope in our hearts. Suffice to say, through a lot of prayer and faith in God we went through the treatments.

My mom probably drank about three gallons worth of essiac tea between the traditional treatments. When her doctors performed another scan, they were amazed that the tumors were shrinking. She was scheduled for six treatments of chemo, but when the doctors saw that she was making great progress, they cut them down to four infusions, and every time she went for her infusions, they kept lowering the dose.

This past summer my mom had surgery at the Rush Medical Center to remove the last spot visible in the CT scan, and again, when the doctors pulled it out, it was dead! The tumors had all died and the doctors did not see any others. My mom will continue to be under observation for the next couple of years, and we are beyond grateful because even the doctors admitted it was nothing short of a miracle.

I am a firm believer that when God created the earth and all human beings, He gave us everything we would need to sustain and heal ourselves. How could an All-Knowing, and loving God not do that? He gave us everything else: air, water, and food.

We literally tried everything to help my mom get better. We believe that a combination of all these things helped my mother. As Christians I tell people that Christ continues to heal people just as he did over 2,000 years ago.
